Choosing a partner

Choosing an AI automation agency.

The useful ones measure the work before they build it. Here is what to ask, and how ZOYA approaches the same problem.

What to ask an AI automation agency

Ask an AI automation agency how it will measure the workflow before and after. If the answer is a tool name, you are buying software rather than an improvement.

Ask what happens when the model is wrong. A serious answer names the human check, the fallback, and the person who owns the step.

Ask what would make them recommend stopping. A partner with no stopping condition is not measuring anything.

Measuring the whole task, not the demo

A drafting tool that saves ten minutes and adds seven minutes of checking has saved three minutes. That arithmetic is easy to skip and expensive to ignore.

ZOYA compares the same workflow before and after a change, including the time people spend reviewing and correcting output.

Demos run on clean inputs chosen by the vendor. Your inputs are the ones that decide whether the tool survives contact with the actual job.

Scope one workflow before scoping a programme

A bounded pilot on one workflow tells you whether the idea survives real inputs. A broad rollout tells you the same thing later, and more expensively.

The AI Business Case & Pilot exists for exactly this. It compares options and full costs, then tests a bounded pilot against agreed measures.

Agree the measures before the pilot starts. Deciding what counts as success afterwards is how pilots get graded generously.

Watch for claims that cannot be checked

Percentages without a named baseline are decoration. Ask what was measured, over what period, and who counted the corrections.

ZOYA publishes a constructed sample assessment rather than borrowed numbers. It is labelled a constructed example and is not a client result.

Logos on a page are not evidence of a comparable engagement. Ask what the work actually was and what was measured at the end of it.

Delivery and advice, scoped separately

ZOYA can implement. AI Workflow Design & Implementation connects tools with evaluations, human review, documentation and clear operational ownership.

Advice and delivery are scoped separately so the decision to build stays a real decision. You can take the diagnostic alone and take the build elsewhere.

Ask for the scope boundary in writing. Knowing where advice ends and delivery begins is what keeps a recommendation honest.

Ownership after the handover

A workflow nobody owns quietly rots. Someone has to notice when quality drifts, inputs change, or a vendor updates a model underneath you.

AI Enablement trains people on their actual tasks, supports adoption, and reviews performance over time. That review is the part most often skipped.

Ask who holds the credentials, the prompts, the evaluations and the documentation. Handover is a deliverable, not a courtesy.

What ZOYA is, plainly

ZOYA is a practice, not a large agency floor. Work is scoped one engagement at a time, and the entry point is a free 30-minute workflow review.

The method pairs systems thinking with the Technical Debt Management Framework, published research into technical-debt classification. That research is a credential, not the offer.

A reasonable sequence

Understand the work, test whether it pays, build it with checks, then help the team own it. Each stage should be buyable on its own.

If every stage is bundled into one irreversible contract, the sequence is being sold for the vendor’s convenience rather than your decision-making.

Bring one workflow to a free review.

The free 30-minute review covers one workflow and ends with a brief map and a recommended next step.

The full diagnostic report, pilot, implementation and training are separately scoped.

A sequence you can buy one step at a time.
